WEST SIDE STORY is an updated telling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet transported to Manhattan’s “Hell’s Kitchen” in 1950’s New York City. This great love story resonates with exciting rhythms, unforgettable melodies, and stunning dance sequences as two idealistic young lovers, Tony and Maria, find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the “American” Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.
