For library lawn performances:
A limited number of chairs and open space will be available, but bring a lawn chair for guaranteed seating and comfort. If you like, bring a snack or beverage.
(alcoholic beverages are not permitted)
(In case of inclement weather, we'll move our show to 51 Walden.)

For 51 Walden performances:
Chairs are provided (no snacks or beverages in the hall).
A talkback will be held after the show.

This year we present The Winter's Tale (condensed), Shakespeare's classic tale of jealousy, anger, betrayal, and the need for redemption and forgiveness.

This rendition of one of Shakespeare's less commonly produced works will be set in the 50s and 60s. Come watch as Leontes, king of Sicilia, is driven mad with jealousy over the thought that his wife is pregnant with his best friend's child. See the inner struggle of his trusted advisor, Camillo, who must decide whether he is loyal to his king or his own conscience.  Journey with the poor babe, whose rough start would make anyone doubt that this could have a happily ever after. Come and see how it all turns out!
