Belle McDonald (1976) Belle was only nine years old when a friend said to her, "Never stop acting, whatever else you do, never stop acting!" Luckily she never has. Growing up in Chicago there were church plays first, then Goodman Theatre School, DePaul University, Feagin in New York City and Bishop Lee in Boston. |

She toured with the USO and with the Sauline Players, some of the plays being The Crucible, Come Back, Little Sheba, Angel Street, and Picnic. For the Players, Belle has played in Thurber Carnival, The Happy Time and The Bridal Night She has appeared in movies, one of which is The Cary Treatment which was filmed in Boston. Belle has worked with the Framingham Players, Tufts Community Players, Harvard Dramatic Club, Sudbury Players, etc, but most of all with the Concord Players ("Playing roles I have loved!") |
