Nancy Curran Willis 
      
    Nancy (Director) is happy to return to the Players where past  productions are Proof, Kiss Me, Kate, Cabaret, Deathtrap and Jake's Women. Nancy  has been active in community theater for over 40 years, winning multiple EMACT  Drama Festival awards for direction and production including A Piece of My Heart, The Boys  Next Door, Woman In Mind, and A Lie of the Mind. Her  productions in the EMACT DASH program have also received honors for  production/direction including: The Shape of Things, West Side  Story, Breaking the Code and most recently The Player's production of Kiss Me, Kate. 
She just finished directing Glengarry Glen Ross for The Umbrella, where she's also helmed Angels in America, Bonnie and Clyde,  and Equus.  In 2012 Nancy was the only director in EMACT  history to win the top awards for direction and production in both musical and  play categories for Grey  Gardens at AFD and Diary of Anne Frank at  QP. She has worked professionally as Managing Director for Gloucester Stage  Company and later, with Boston Theatre Works (BTW). While with BTW, she  received the Elliot Norton Award (Boston theater equivalent of a Tony Award)  for direction and outstanding production of Angels in America.  For ten years Nancy worked with the next generation of theater artists at  Newton South and Bedford High Schools introducing the students to shows like: Laramie Project, Urinetown,  Metamorphoses, Miracle Worker, Spelling Bee, Spring Awakening. She  is proud to be at the helm of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and to  be teamed with the talented Don Boroson, MD and reunited with the amazing  Jennifer Condon on choreogrphy. Special thanks to The Player's for your  constant support and enthusiasm for this production, to Cathie Regan for  keeping us all on track and to a cast and crew of over 60 people who helped  bring this magnificent story to life.
