Zawie is happy to be making his debut with Concord Players. He is excited to be re-visiting Arcadia, having done the Sound Design and portraying Ezra Chater for Vokes Players many years ago. Recent sound work includes The Nance, Wings (EMACT DASH nominee), Death of a Salesman, Black Coffee, Other Desert Cities, Next to Normal, The Servant of Two Masters, The Voice of the Prairie, Hamlet, On the Razzle, Book of Days, Hidden in this Picture (EMACT Festival Nominee), The Lady’s Not for Burning, Wonder of the World, and Amadeus (among others) for Vokes Players. He also appears onstage  having recently played Pat in The Porch, Gloucester in King Lear, Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman, Leon Schwab/Watermelon Man in The Voice of the Prairie, Polonius in Hamlet,  Herr Zangler in On the Razzle, The Common Man in A Man for All Seasons, Walter Gold in The Twilight of the Golds, Count Franz Orsini-Rosenberg in Amadeus, Gaston in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Hugh in Translations, Macduff in Macbeth, Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream along with many others.
