November 3 – 18, 2023

It's opening night for the Cornley Drama Society's production of The Murder at Haversham Manor, but a series of unfortunate events (including an unconscious leading lady, accident-prone actors, and a not-as-sturdy-as-it-should-be set) threaten the performance. Nevertheless, the show must go on — but can it? Come watch as the curtain falls (literally) on this antic tip of the jester's hat to Sherlock Holmes, Buster Keaton, and Monty Python!

Directed by Brian Kelly

February 9 – 24, 2024

This coming-of-age comedy focuses on Eugene Morris Jerome, a teenager obsessed with baseball, girls, and writing (definitely not in that order) while living with his mother, father, and older brother in 1937 Brooklyn. Eugene's widowed aunt and her two daughters have come to live with the Jeromes, stretching their family resources and testing their relationships. And with fear and violence mounting in Europe, their family dynamics are about to change even more dramatically.

Directed by Paul Dixon

April 26 – May 11, 2024

Fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill arrives in River City, Iowa in 1912 to sell the townsfolk on the idea of forming a kids' band, complete with instruments and fancy uniforms. Marian, the town's on-task librarian, suspects that the charismatic "Professor" Hill doesn't really know a flute from a flugelhorn and is up to … what exactly? The songs and spirit of this joyous American musical never grow old, and show us yet again that the most important lessons about life, luck, and love are closer than we think.

Directed by Paul Murphy
Music Direction by Kathryn Denney
